Summary
The Lease Analyst (Retail) will provide key oversight to organize and synthesize information of leases, contracts, property and asset management related matters with and for the company’s development, construction, franchise, legal, finance and accounting teams. This individual will be responsible to effectively and timely manage workflows and deadlines, maintain critical path reports and manage the company’s lease database. This position will be a part of facilitating the company’s real estate and contract activities. This role leads organizational synchronization with internal stakeholders, franchisees, outside vendors and landlords.
Responsibilities
Working both individually and in team settings; partnering with internal stakeholders for input, guidance and approval; and, operating under definitive and challenging deadlines: * Assist in the establishment and ongoing execution of a contract and property administration process. Implementation to manage oversight of company contracts, properties, leases, abstracts, contracts and scheduled projects and initiatives. * Will produce reports in response to business needs, track status of lease transactions, attend to execution and delivery of documents and manage documentation; file maintenance and communication * Administrator for lease and property and asset management. Ensures lease compliance with company standards and necessary stakeholder notification process with timely follow up. * Receive, track and disseminate to stakeholders any communications relating to active projects * Maintain project schedule assignments and updates on department status reports * Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to project team * Other duties, assignments and specific projects may be assigned at the discretion of management. Ideal Candidate
MUST HAVE SIGNIFICANT DIRECT CONTRACTS/LEASE RETAIL EXPERIENCE! * Excellent organizational and communication skills * Practical knowledge of contractual, construction and real estate language required * Familiarity and full understanding of commercial Leases, abstracts and legal principals * Experience establishing and managing a lease database * Proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook, specific and high-level experience with MS Excel is mandatory * Understanding of, and demonstrated experience with development proforma input and budget management * Self starter, strong time management skills, ability to work independently * 5-7 years minimum experience in large retail property management role * Bachelor's Degree required * Must have excellent written and oral communications skills * Must be detail oriented with excellent organization skills * Must be highly-effective with minimal daily supervision * Must be reliable and motivated * Must be focused and able to manage fast-paced, multiple projects with strict adherence to budgets and deadlines * Must be able to work well in both an individual and team environment
