Summary
The HRIS Reporting Analyst will be part of the HR Systems, Shared Services & Operations team and will proactively build reports, both operational and analytical, to track the workforce, give insight into employee data, and highlight trends. The HRIS Reporting Analyst acts as a consultant to the organization in understanding the HR data landscape and provide information on where data exists, what limitations there may be, and how to manipulate it in order to turn it into actionable information. The successful candidate should be comfortable working with others at all levels in the organization, collaborating with individuals and teams. The HRIS Reporting Analyst will be a pragmatic change agent, helping to evolve Analytics in such a way as to maximize its benefit through the use of analytics and dashboards.The position requires a highly analytical, self-motivated person who can assist HR Systems division enhance the capabilities of Workday for our end users.
Responsibilities
* 10% Monitor the integrity of human resources information system (HRIS) data through regular audits, troubleshooting irregularities, as well as partnering with the HRIS team to research, correct discrepancies, and ensure compliance * 20% Understands the data housed in multiple HR systems to generate standard, custom, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc reports as needed by business * 20% Delivers dashboards and embedded analytics for real-time decision-making by Improving the performance and experience of manager direct access with dashboard design * 20% Reporting governance ownership; works with COEs to develop and publish standard, recommended reports to support COE programs; has overall responsibility for report catalog (published reports in workday), ensuring available reports are accurate, current, and useful * 20% Ad­vanced understanding of Workday Security to enhance the report delivery options for various groups * 10% Supports and understand current and new features and functionality within Workday
Ideal Candidate
* Ability to interact at and present to all levels of leadership * Experience with report development and/or configuration * Attention to Detail: Design and delivery of reports to Sr. Leaders requires attention to detail and a thorough understanding of data and the organization structure * Analytical/ Research: Perform analysis of data to meet the needs of customers and (HR Business Partners, Business or Functional Leaders, Legal team, Payroll, external parties) and to aid in decision making * Collaboration: Collaborates routinely with outsourced report delivery team, with internal teams (HR, IT, Payroll, Legal) and with customers * Knowledge of Workday Security Administration * Knowledge of standard Workday business practices * Knowledge of HCM business processes is essential * Knowledge of employee life cycle * Knowledge of data migration and interface to Third Party Vendors. * Knowledge of Workday reporting * Knowledge of writing functional specifications * Knowledge of setting up test scenarios and test scripts * Ability to configure the system based on the client requirements * Ability to provide all feasible solution based on the client requirements with advantages and disadvantages and provide recommendation based on the industry best practice * Serves as liaison between business customers and systems areas * Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely * Must be able to translate client business rules to technical business requirements * Must possess strong analytical skills * Must have good documentation skills and should be able to work in global environment * Practical experience of delivering HCM projects in a professional environment * Excel in development activities such as coding, testing, documentation and maintenance support within the implementation of customized solutions
