Summary
The Manager is responsible for employee health services, which enhance safety, reduce likelihood of injury, promote well being and sustain productivity of all medical center personnel. The Manager and ARNP will coordinate the Employee Health team efforts with those of the Safety, Worker’s Compensation and Return to Work Programs allowing employees to quickly and safely regain their health and return to work.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement standards and strategic plans that control and lower the risk of endemic and epidemic infectious processes for patients, visitors, and staff. * Facilitate the development of departmental and interdepartmental plans to control emerging pathogens. * Establishe targeted surveillance systems, data collection, and trend analysis to measure, assess, and improve processes and outcomes relevant to infection control, employee health, and customer needs supporting medical center goals. * Assure communicable diseases are reported to Public Health department and/or other appropriate authorities. * Monitor injury and exposure prevention including sharps injury safety. * In the absence of the chairperson of the Epidemiology/committee, institute control measures deemed necessary when there is an infectious disease concern.
Ideal Candidate
**Required qualifications for this position include:** * Bachelor’s degree in Nursing * Current RN Washington state license * Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience in management and employee health and occupational health * Provide visibility to the importance of Employee Health Services * Identify and report key metrics * Provide oversight and guidance on program development **Preferred qualifications for this position include:** * Master’s degree
