Summary
Manage coordination of projects from point of sale through implementation. Collaborate with sales and sales leadership on customer opportunities to understand scope; Provide guidance on ordering requirements and set up as needed; Provide quoting assistance up to and including product research, pricing, quote development and sequencing; manage post project order management activities including punch list and project add-on orders. Responsible for helping establish and maintain project forecasting and profitability through effective project coordination and management. Participate in weekly project status meetings with internal teams, providing updates and reports on status. Provide bid and other sales support assistance as required.
Responsibilities
**Primary Duties and Responsibilities:** **Pre-Order Planning and Management -** * Work closely with sales, design, project management and operations to understand project requirements, orchestrate appropriate quote sequencing for installation * Confirm ordering instructions, arrival date requirements and other key order information is communicated for order entry * Ensure order package is complete at submission with signed quote and/or signed customer P.O., T&Cs, drawings, credit approval/waiver and any other document needed to facilitate seamless order entry **Project Coordination and Project management -** * Manage and track fulfillment of project orders * Inside project management on projects between $10k to $25k * Develop and manage status reporting to internal and external audiences to ensure project requirements will be met * Participate in weekly project/order meetings to update internal teams on status, key issues and resolution activities * Manage project forecast weekly to ensure invoice period accuracy **Additional Responsibilities -** * Coordinate and/or assist assigned project manager with tasks related to scheduling, delivery * Installation, and repair and punch-list conclusion for customer sign off * Develop and maintain order status reports for sales or customers, as needed * Trouble shoot customer, order or project issues by developing solution options and implementing resolutions to align with company guidelines * Understand pricing philosophy and provide sales guidance on gross margin and profit thresholds to manage order/project profitability
Ideal Candidate
**Basic Qualifications:** * High School Diploma or GED * 4 to 6 years related professional experience * Excellent written and verbal communication skills; includes customer service and interpersonal skills * Strong analytical skills and ability to develop and manage to a work plan * Proficient in MS Office; capable to learn other platforms such as CFS and Salesforce * Demonstrated ability to effectively handle multiple priorities * Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the office furniture industry
