Summary
The Product Manager position will contribute to client's success by developing the digital product objectives, success measures, and strategies leading to a great customer experience and helping clients meet its goals. They identify, prioritize, and define features which provide customer value through incremental change. They encourage teamwork, collaborate closely with other product teams and strengthen relationships with their business partners. The client haas a lot of digital products. This role will be a critical component of this growth by defining the product strategies and tactics needed to solve complex business challenges and bring value to our customers. This role will be an active participant in the evolution of our organization including the agile team makeup, roles and responsibilities, and workflows. The ideal candidate will bring proven technical internet and user facing product management skills in both B2B and B2C retail business models.
Responsibilities
* Define product objective and roadmap for multiple key components of client website and others across desktop, tablet and phone. * Work closely with internal teams (ecomm leadership, engineering, UX, design, brand, merchandising) on management and execution of product roadmap. * Manage intake of customer focused opportunity assessments ensuring all are well defined, prioritized and ready for product discovery. * Work with leadership and teams on company and divisional strategic initiatives, quarterly planning, and sprint planning. * Ensure team is unblocked and running at full potential. * Work closely with design and engineering to bring our projects to life, measure their success, and define and prioritize future improvements. * Manage project schedules and dependencies, and drive cross-functional initiatives. * Prioritize product enhancements & triage bugs * Leverage data analysis skills to research difficult or ambiguous problems. * Leverage and engage with UX to identify key product issues in market; solicit feedback on product roadmap * Evangelize and promote our Product Development process; fail fast/learn early and delivering incremental value to customers. * Willingness to do whatever it takes to deliver products that delight!
Ideal Candidate
* 5+ years Product Owner or Product Management experience * 5+ years working with and delivering a responsive site, mobile web, and mobile applications * Passion for product: conceiving, designing, building, and shipping it. You should be a product geek. * BS/BA required, ideally in technical or quantitative discipline. * Understanding of user interface design and user testing best practices. * Highly quantitative. Enjoy analyzing user data. Experience running A/B tests, setting metrics, and iterating based on data. * Ability to communicate, develop relationships with others while influencing and removing blockers.
