Summary
The Associate Manager of Training will act as the main internal liaison administrator for all corporate and commerce related training needs. This individual will also be responsible for the coordination of all sales-driven external events. This person will partner closely with our retail store and direct to consumer team to leverage and share training assets.
Responsibilities
* Develop and execute training of SPANX DNA and products throughout internal and external consumers and partnerships * Maintain a clear understanding of priorities, key initiatives, and product focuses by account/audience * Identify creative ways to excite and engage store associates and department managers with training materials * Develop versatile product training materials that can be utilized across all channels of distribution * Partner with SPANX DTC/Retail Store team to ensure consistent brand/product messaging and training * Serve as primary liaison between sales and marketing/creative for all creative requests pertaining to training (ex: personal shopper "kits," RTR Style Guide, etc.) * Strategically incorporate gratis into training programs and events * Ensure regional sales team is equipped with materials needed to execute training events * Own training content and materials for new accounts * Lead product trainings as needed * Manage a comprehensive global commerce Customer Activation Calendar * Manage the gratis budget and process * Develop new hire onboarding and execute company-wide product training * Own wholesale in-store events and execution * Own Market as an event for the Global Commerce Team * Assist marketing in the ownership of training for spanx.com and retail stores * Leverage tools and materials created for spanx.com in retail stores * Act as project manager for all offsite trunk shows and pop-up opportunities * Coordinate with marketing on the development of all collateral needs of the sales team * Create seasonal product training modules * Create focused product training presentations * Act as project manager and content manager for all key customer training events (ex: Dillard’s management training, Dillard’s Product Knowledge seminars, Nordstrom Bra-Cago, Nordstrom A-Sales) * Utilize various forms of media such as videos of Sara Blakely to be used in key selling locations (ex: NYC flagships, top preforming ales associates, and certified sales associates) * Own the development of new distribution “kit” * Develop plan that communicates key brand messages to sales associates
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree * Minimum 5+ years in retail environment in a training capacity * Advanced PC knowledge including Excel, Power Point and Microsoft Office * Exhibit professional demeanor and excellent presentation and communication skills * Highly organized, multi-task oriented, results driven, ability to consistently meet deadlines * Strong ability to work cross-functionally with peers
