Summary
Centro’s Account Lead will develop strong relationships with new and existing agency (small to large) and client partners to fulfill their digital media business needs. The ideal candidate will have strong sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets. Knowledge of digital media solutions as well as in-market agency and/or client experience is a must.
Responsibilities
* Prospect and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and setting up meetings * Meet and exceed individual and regional sales goals * Work collaboratively with cross functional teams, including Centro’s Media Services, Marketing, and Product teams, to drive industry research, media strategy, publisher opportunities, and campaign optimizations * Interact with key online publishing partners to secure ad inventories and specialized ad products * Maintain ongoing relationship management with new and existing agency and client partners * Utilize industry trends, research tools and analysis to present the value proposition of Centro to digital clients through intelligent presentations and thought leadership * Provide regular updates to management on pipeline and partnerships through Salesforce.com
Ideal Candidate
* 3+ years in-market sales or business development in the digital industry; experience at ad agencies, publishers, ad networks/sales houses, SSPs, DSPs, and ad exchanges preferred * Established relationships with in-market agencies and clients * Experience growing existing client bases and building lasting client and vendor relationships * Proven ability to prospect, cold-call, and create new sales opportunities * Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills * Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook) * Familiarity with CRM software, ComScore, Nielsen/NetRatings, @Plan, Media Audit a plus * Driven and goal-oriented with the ability to contribute to a highly collaborative team environment
