As Senior Controller you oversee the general accounting function, which includes inter-company accounting, cash management/reconciliation, financial reporting, balance sheet management (excluding inventory related items) and royalty management. You will be accountable for ensuring that policies and procedures (internal controls) are in place to provide reasonable assurance that the company assets are protected

You provide technical accounting GAAP guidance and support to all company entities. At times, this may include involvement in due diligence and other activities surrounding acquisitions/dispositions. You will also be responsible for proper timing and application of revenue recognition rules. This currently entails a real-time review of each instrument order and its terms for changes needed and determination of proper timing of revenue recognition. You will have a significant interaction with Sales and Customer Service groups. Whilst also having full responsibility for the tax returns and audits for the Company’s international subsidiaries, transfer pricing arrangements, managing and developing a US based accounting team. Under your leadership the company financial records, account reconciliations, management accounts and other documents are maintained in compliance with company policies and US GAAP & IFRS.

* Corporate accounting experience (Big 4 Accounting Experience Strongly Preferred) * A CPA qualification and global tax knowledge * Strong people management experience with a demonstrable ability to lead, and develop high-performing teams in flexible environment * Has strong business acumen, analytical, problem solving and quantitative analysis skills. * Has proven record of automation and process improvement to eliminate non-value added manual tasks * Demonstrates outstanding written and verbal communication skills * Experience using business intelligence tools. Oracle Fusion Financials experience a plus
