Summary
The award-winning Schoology team and business are growing extremely quickly. As a result, we are adding to our ever-growing Account Executive team and looking for an experienced Education Software Sales Manager to work in our NYC office and help lead them towards success by hiring and training new employees, strategizing ways to find new leads and opportunities within different territories, and ensuring the team is meeting and/or exceeding all of their metric goals.
Responsibilities
* Hire and train sales representatives. * Ensure team is meeting pre-determined metrics/KPI’s for prospecting activities and quota of qualified leads. * Maintain weekly 1:1’s with each member of the team. * Analyze specific activity levels to drive successful time and territory management. * Consistently search for new opportunities to optimize and improve our sales process. * Provide reports as required by management.
Ideal Candidate
* 3+ years management experience in the education software space, with 5+ direct reports on your team. * 2+ years of inside sales/lead generation experience (separate from management experience) * Ability to confidently lead and direct the work of others; a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. * Solid communication, listening and writing skills. * Experience using Salesforce a big plus.
