Summary
Works to drive the Company's profitable revenue growth by building effective relationships with mid-level client contacts and Company personnel. Collaborating with local Company experts identifies opportunities for, and sells, additional Company solutions to drive revenue volume growth within the assigned client accounts. Establishes and maintains relationships and begins to be considered a trusted advisor to the client. May lead one or more medium accounts and/or several small accounts. Participates in the attainment of annual revenue goals for the assigned account(s).
Responsibilities
**Client Experience** * Lead junior and/ or senior-level relationships with clients, and key agency players. Establish trusted advisor relationships in which your clients and colleagues seek out your advice and counsel. * Be a strategic partner to assigned client by demonstrating a significant understanding of their market and business sectors and their specific challenges and opportunities. Provide insights and perspectives that support client initiatives and align our services with client needs. * Proactively seek to increase revenue by translating assigned client's challenges into growth opportunities for our business through expanding into new client products, and cross selling the Company's services. * Maintain existing business relationship with assigned clients by staying closely connected to internal project teams, monitoring progress of ongoing client projects as needed, and helping to address and resolve promptly, accurately, effectively, and to the client's satisfaction, any issues or problems that may arise. **Operational Excellence** * Creates strong and effective partnerships with Brand Development and Brand Deployment teams through sharing a deep understanding of Client markets and business sectors and specific challenges and opportunities facing those clients. Works with Company leaders to develop solutions that align our services with client needs. * Regularly assesses and manages risks associated with profitability leakage by researching, understanding, and resolving any identified issues (i.e. process, operational, client relationship specific, etc.). * Analyzes the performance of the Company-Client business relationship through analytics models and performance metrics at formal quarterly business review meetings with goal to establish agreed tactical and strategic priorities and strategies to achieve those goals. * Ensures client retention is maximized by facilitating the delivery of custom tailored solutions to meet clients' objectives and expectations. **Employee Experience** * Communicates timely, relevant information to employees, as appropriate, so they understand company performance, business direction and initiatives, and how they contribute to and benefit from the Company's success. * Is an inspiring role model through presence and actions. * Takes ownership of personal actions and outcomes and encourages and empowers others to do the same. * Drives change; demonstrates adaptability and fosters an environment that encourages open mindedness and flexibility in the face of ambiguity and change. * Focuses own and the team's efforts on achieving SMART objectives aligned to the Company's Strategic Imperatives; acknowledges employees' efforts and rewards results. * Sets high and clearly defined standards for direct reports; provides current, objective, and complete positive and constructive feedback and addresses performance concerns­­ directly, fairly, and in a timely manner. * Serves as a coach and mentor; provides coaching and feedback on specific skill development and encourages employees to pursue upward and lateral growth opportunities to enhance expertise and drive career development. * Provides specific, objective feedback to direct reports through written performance reviews as part of the Global Performance Management program. * Creates strong and effective internal partnerships and collaborates across the Company; listens and values the opinions of others. * Is an effective team member; supports the team by pitching in at any level and effectively * working across the organization to meet the needs of the business. * Proactively seeks opportunities to increase knowledge, skills and abilities. * Monitors and pursues upward and lateral growth opportunities to enhance expertise and drive career development.
Ideal Candidate
**Education and Certifications** * College degree (e.g. Bachelor of Arts) or equivalent degree within appropriate discipline such as degree or equivalent education in Marketing, Business Administration, Graphic Management Services or Design or other related fields such as fine arts or fashion, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required. * Graduate degree or MBA (Masters of Business Administration) a plus. **Experience** * Previous experience leading or supervising others. * Proven experience successfully managing client accounts within a sales/target driven environment, including experience managing key accounts. * Experience in leading relationships and helping clients develop and deploy Marketing Communications within one or more industries. **Skills & Abilities** * Significant knowledge of the Company's products, solutions and services. * Significant understanding of the market and business environment that affects the assigned clients. * Significant understanding of the assigned clients' products and services. * Significant people, organizational, and analytical skills (including attention to detail). * Significant presentation and communication skills (written, verbal) a plus. * Strong problem-solving skills; strong ability to proactively identify and implement effective solutions. * Good knowledge of business models, objectives, financial metrics, etc. used in decision making; ability to build sound business cases to support initiatives. * Proficient Computer Management Software skills (e.g. MS Office-Excel, Word, Outlook) * Proven ability to profitably grow business revenue with new clients and with existing clients. * Ability to build new relationships and nurture existing relationships with internal and external clients. * Ability to influence decisions at all levels; good negotiation skills. * Ability to work well in a team environment, to handle a heavy workload, to prioritize work, and to meet assigned deadlines. * Ability to develop a collaborative relationship with key partners in other areas of the organization. * Ability and willingness to work with people of all levels.
