Summary
The Marketing Coordinator provides assistance and support to the marketing organization, ensuring that processes and tools drive operational excellence and fuel sales.
Responsibilities
* Develops and maintains the global marketing calendar. * Handles setup and support for meetings, presentations, and collateral development. * Assists with enterprise marketing results tracking, and creation and management of programs and processes. * Provides sales support; serving as central repository and clearinghouse for additional sales support requests, coordinating with Sales, Product Marketing, Field Marketing, and Marketing Operations to develop responses to these requests. This includes: * Managing the development and content for a global sales/partner toolkit; and * Prioritizing and supporting individual ad hoc sales requests, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities. * Assists in writing, tracking, and delivery of marketing materials, including presentations, newsletters, social media, and blog posts. * Contributes to the identification and research of operational opportunities for the organization including tools, resources needs, and process gaps, and assists with development and implementation of solutions. * Provides administrative support for generation of purchase orders, invoices and check requests, and tracks spend against budgets. * This position may be responsible for one or more of the following: * Digital content monitoring and regular reporting specific to Communications, Product Marketing, Marketing Operations, or other teams within ProQuest Marketing; * Updating the ProQuest employee portal; * Ensuring outbound marketing efforts are publicized internally, including key customer communications being published and upcoming events and awards; and * Provide writing, editing and proofreading support to the production of marketing communications materials.
Ideal Candidate
**Minimum Qualifications:** * Associates’ degree in Business, Marketing or related field, plus minimum 3 years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. * Sound understanding of B2B and digital marketing principles and best practices. * Independent, self-motivated, and capable of managing numerous projects and meet aggressive deadlines in a dynamic, multi-location environment, while maintaining a team-oriented approach to business. * Proven record of project ownership and completion, with strong time and project management skills, and ability to drive results. * Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills; document creation and copy editing experience with high-degree of accuracy and attention to detail. * Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with internal customers at all levels of the organization. * Computer literacy and strong skills in programs such as Outlook, Lync, WebEx, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, and SalesForce.com. Capacity to learn and master new technology. **Ancillary Qualifications:** Fluency in languages other than English. **Other important information about this position:** * This position is based in a ProQuest office located in Ann Arbor, MI or Mountain View, CA. * Occasional travel may be required. * This position requires weekday (Monday - Friday) attendance with some scheduling flexibility available around core working hours.
