SRP provides electricity to more than 1 million retail customers in a 2,900-square-mile service area that spans three Arizona counties, including most of the metropolitan Phoenix area (known as the Valley).
Summary
Work individually and with other internal infrastructure groups to administer and maintain messaging applications including Skype for Business and Exchange 2013.
Responsibilities
- Administration/ Level 3 support for Skype for Business/ Enterprise Voice and Exchange 2013 - Provide Skype application performance and call quality reporting metrics - Utilize packet capture technologies to troubleshoot Skype and SIP voice performance issues - Troubleshoot application issues related to operating system, services or network - Determine root cause in the event of an application outage or failure - Work within a Change Control process in support of messaging applications - Provide scheduled rotational after hours on-call support - Support ongoing and future messaging projects based on technology road map
Ideal Candidate
**Education** * Completion of a Bachelor's Degree that prepares the employee for the assignment. **Experience:** * Promotion to Level 2 requires a minimum of two years of experience at Level 1 demonstrated capability to perform advanced and more difficult work as determined by the supervisor. * Promotion to Senior Level requires a minimum of three-years of experience at Level 2 is fully competent in all aspects of functional area of assignment and as such would be recognized as a specialist in area of assignment and may have periodic or occasional lead responsibilities. **The ideal candidate must have the following skills:** - In depth knowledge and experience with the following: - Microsoft Lync 2013/ Skype for Business 2015, including experience with Enterprise Voice - Microsoft Exchange 2013 - PowerShell Scripting - Windows 2008/2012 server Operating Systems - Systems administration in large-scale Messaging environments - Active Directory architecture, Group Policy, NTFS permissions, DNS - Experience architecting applications for High Availability and Disaster Recovery - Experience with load balanced application concepts (VIPs, Virtual Server Pools) - Experience with Public and Private encryption Key Certificates - MS Windows, MS SQL 2008/2012 clustering and high availability concepts (e.g. mirroring, geo clustering) - Understanding of the OSI model and general networking concepts as they relate to application architecture - Understanding of VoIP/ SIP fundamentals - A strong background in client support and demonstrated ability to work with clients of varied technical skill levels. - Detail oriented with strong analytical, problem solving and technical troubleshooting skills - Well organized with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently when necessary - Excellent oral and written communication skills **Preferred Requirements include knowledge and experience in the following areas:** - Email spam management and anti-virus software administration experience - Mobile Device Management using Exchange ActiveSync, Good and Air Watch - Familiarity with Polycom Video Conferencing technologies and infrastructure
