Summary
Sailthru's Implementation Engineer works directly with customers to ensure Sailthru's product suite is efficiently and effectively integrated with clients' systems. The Implementation Engineer is a key liaison between the company’s growing Sales, Customer Success, Professional Services, and internal engineering teams. This role is responsible for communicating with Sailthru clients to assess their business/technical needs, make recommendations, and implement and test the solution to ensure a successful integration.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with clients and Sailthru Project Managers to execute an implementation plan, help code and test an effective solution to their integration needs, and define project requirements. * Document client requirements and associated workflows, and successfully transition the client to Customer Success and Client Support teams. * Work on tactical integration consulting projects leveraging your knowledge of third-party platforms (ecommerce, CMS, etc.) and Sailthru integration points. * Are expected to contribute to knowledge base documentation and maintain accurate timekeeping records

**About You** This role is for you if you are a self­-starter that likes to learn new technology, enjoy interfacing directly with clients and have experience implementing B2B SaaS solutions. You will be able to quickly get up-to-speed with Sailthru's product suite (API integration, analytics, email) and excel in your ability to recall documentation and solve problems under pressure. You are a natural teacher and persuader, with the ability to guide clients through best practices with confidence, and you excel at working directly with clients due to your strong communication skills (written, verbal and presentation). **General Qualifications** * Educational background/work experience in Computer Science, Engineering and/or a related field. * 2-3 years of experience implementing/ integrating technology with external customers at either a consulting firm or with a B2B SaaS technology company. * Working experience in web service APIs (especially REST-­based), JavaScript, PHP, HTML, CSS or similar web programming languages. * Hands-on web platform/enterprise integration experience (Web-to-Web via API). * Ability to thrive working within a variety of programming languages and server-based operating systems. * Sensitivity and flexibility in adapting communication and work styles to varying client backgrounds (i.e. corporate hierarchies to start­up environments). * Skills and patience in presenting above technical concepts to individuals without strong technical backgrounds.
