Summary
As a member of the Magnetic Professional Services Support team, you will be critical to maintaining the “health” of our clients’ SaaS e-marketing solutions (e.g., personalized website recommendations, email campaigns, and online display ads) and the ability for our company to scale.
Responsibilities
* Proactively monitor the “health” of clients’ e-marketing services (personalized website recommendations, emails and display advertising campaigns) by analyzing data, addressing error notifications, reviewing website coding and monitoring automated processes/alerts * Provide technical assistance per requests from our Client Success team as well as directly from clients, ranging from styling changes on the front end to data transformations and configurations on the back end * Identify and deliver automated solutions and business process improvements to facilitate faster issue detection and resolution and superb execution quality * Communicate positively and effectively with other client facing departments to clarify technical issues and address client requests * Identify opportunities to enhance process and QA documentation * Perform weekend support coverage approximately one weekend a month
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Data Storage and Transformation, Information Systems, Computer Science, Web Development, etc.) * Strong knowledge of web technologies, ecommerce platforms and how a Content Delivery Network (CDN) is used in a SaaS environment * Understanding of programming methodologies with ability to develop/troubleshoot SQL queries, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Java * Experience with one or more OOP or scripting language (e.g., Perl, Python, JavaScript, PHP, Java, C#) * Proven ability to meet client deadlines with high quality * Ability to travel up to 5% to assist clients or attend client meetings * Ability and confidence to escalate issues in a timely and effective manner for rapid resolution * High degree of self-motivation * Ability to work independently and manage multiple competing priorities * Positive “can do” attitude * Strong work ethic * Passion for solving complex ecommerce and data problems * Desire to thrive in a fun startup environment * Knowledge of mail delivery systems, mail relays * Knowledge of image processing technologies * Experience working with and deploying platform extensions and plugins * Experience working with REST & SOAP APIs for integrations.
