Summary
The Senior Financial Analyst is the primary analytical support for the external finance team in its capacity to manage the capital structure of the ongoing business and raise/refinance equity and debt for future growth. The position will emphasize heavy financial modeling, due diligence and transactional support on both the buy and sell sides, regular interaction with middle market banking and private equity relationships, and internal financial data creation, management, and analyses. The candidate will have experience in investment banking, PE, or equivalent corporate/banking finance.
Responsibilities
* Financial modeling encompassing Company operating model and capital structure; advanced Excel understanding and modeling, acute attention to detail and inputs, ability to judge macro output. * Company valuation support including internal equity valuation analyses, waterfall analyses, DCF/NPV/IRR, and data management of complex capital structure. * Draft, compile, and edit in Power Point and Word for presentations to investors, including written CIM and related deck. Research financial and operational information and draft clear, accurate responses to diligence requests. * Perform due diligence, transactional support, pro forma analyses, and lender compliance reporting for high volume of acquisition targets; understand and interpret legal documents including asset purchase agreements, securities purchase agreements, and credit agreements.
Ideal Candidate
* 5+ years financial analyst or equivalent; investment banking, PE, or equivalent corporate/banking finance capacity background. * Finance or related undergraduate degree required; Master’s degree a plus. * Advanced understanding of finance and accounting concepts. * Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability. * Prioritize deliverable to ensure that they are accurately prepared, reviewed, and sent on time while managing multiple projects and deadlines. * Evaluate the adequacy of existing procedures, identify weaknesses, and implement improvements. * Communicate effectively, both orally and written, with all levels of employees, management, shareholders, lenders, and other financial partners. * Excellent Excel, Power Point, and Word skills. * Proven analytical and problem solving skills. * Acute attention to detail. * Driven to succeed and positive attitude.
