Responsibilities
One of the nation’s largest real estate investment firms seeks a full-time Analyst in our Greenwich, CT office. The selected candidate will primarily assist in the preparation of affordable multifamily syndication financial models. **Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:** * Assist with and perform financial analysis within affordable multi-family syndication and property level financial models * Monitor the performance of property investments through the review of reports prepared by asset management and address discrepancies in conjunction with the preparation of quarterly reports to corporate investors * Review and analyze partnership tax returns, internal reports and operating proformas * Interact with asset management, accounting and acquisitions departments * Report to investors on a quarterly basis on the performance of their portfolio of property investments * Assist Fund managers and senior management with special time sensitive projects
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree from accredited university, with a concentration in Accounting or Finance (3.0+ GPA) * Minimum of 5 years of partnership tax or real estate accounting experience required * Working knowledge of spreadsheets, cash flow and NPV/IRR analyses * Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) * Able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment * Must be detail oriented, self-motivated and have excellent organizational and communication skills * Able to meet tight deadlines in time sensitive situations while maintaining a professional demeanor * Flexible to work extra hours as needed
