Financial Analyst (Capital Markets)

The Financial Analyst will provide financial analysis, analytical decision support services and technical expertise for Capital Group brokers specializing in investment sales and debt and equity procurement. The analyst will design and build sophisticated financial models for properties with existing cash flow in addition to ground-up development and redevelopment opportunities. The analyst will present financial models to senior group leaders and clients.

* Create discounted cash flow analyses using Argus and Excel. * Develop model inputs from discussions with leasing brokers, property managers, construction experts and research resources. * Produce investment and debt placement memoranda for asset sales, ground lease transactions and debt placements. * Analyze value sensitivities to financing terms, growth rates, and leasing and expense inputs to DCF models. * Construct complex development models.

* Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent experience. * Knowledge of cash flows, NPV & IRR analysis and capital planning. * Proficiency with PC applications such as Argus, Microsoft Excel and Word with strong financial modeling skills. * Strong consulting, oral, written, presentation and facilitation skills. * Ability to work in a complex team environment across multiple departments. * Ability to manage tight deadlines. * May perform other duties as assigned
