Summary
If you’re an overachieving salesperson and want to build this fast growing start-up within our larger organization this could be a great fit. We are looking for an experienced, ambitious, hardworking and results-oriented individual. We are particularly interested in candidates with a demonstrable track record of outstanding success selling data and intelligence solutions to analytical clients.
Responsibilities
* Identify and close new revenue opportunities for the Return Path Consumer Insight data business. * Be a primary driver of our revenue target with focused efforts selling directly to the end user. * Partner with our product team to act as the voice of the customer and ensure we are capturing the right types of data and delivering that to the client. Help determine the product road-map based on marketplace feedback.
Ideal Candidate
* Minimum 8-10 years successful sales experience with a proven track record selling complex data solutions and business value in competitive environment. * Experience conversing with C-Level and with other Senior Marketing and Analytic Executives. * Experience in Marketing and Marketing Information, including data, insights, analytics, and digital marketing. * Excellent communicator and collaborator. * Accustomed to working with a longer sales cycle. * Comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment and have sold new products, started new businesses, and are comfortable developing and refining a sales process, not just executing one. * Understand the complexities of data licensing deals and have done this type of work in the past. * Prior experience working with agencies would be beneficial. * Enjoy a great network and contacts in this industry, possibly expertise in a high target vertical (such as retail, e-commerce, consumer financial, media). * Goes without saying – a self-starter who has carried a number before. This is a pure, senior hunter role. We need someone who can accelerate the revenue for this new product line, which has already generated solid market traction.
