Responsibilities
Redfin seeks an experienced and creative Benefits Manager to join our dynamic HR team. In this role, you’ll manage the entirety of Redfin’s benefits programs and policies. You’ll be responsible for making strategic, data-driven recommendations about our benefit offerings, and you’ll partner closely with other departments (including IT and Finance) to build seamless processes around benefits administration, open enrollment, and other complex benefits projects.
Ideal Candidate
* Subject Matter Expert: You have deep industry knowledge and you’re the first to know about competitive trends and developments in the world of benefits. You’re comfortable navigating through FMLA, ADA, COBRA, ERISA, ACA, and other complex regulations. * Experienced: You have 5+ years of Benefits experience and a proven track record of excellence in your field. Compensation experience strongly preferred but not required. * Leader: You’re a great people manager who can develop and challenge your direct reports. * Execution Focused: You’re a highly-organized planner who can manage complex projects with ease and a sense of humor. * Excellent Communicator: You’re a calm and consistent resource for employees with benefits questions. You can boil down even the most complicated benefits concepts to a clear set of bullet points that all employees can understand. * Data Driven: You have a demonstrated ability to use data in your decision making, and you love finding new ways to leverage data to improve outcomes for employees. You’re highly analytical and you take pride in the accuracy of your work. * Systems Expert: You have deep knowledge of HR systems (Workday knowledge is a huge plus). You are comfortable getting your hands dirty with business processes and working with systems owners to get the right results. * Collaborative: You are a true team player with a talent for uniting people (including cross-functional teams). You’re confident in your skills, but you’re open to input and feedback from peers and business leaders alike. * Smart: You have a Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience), are emotionally intelligent, and know how to get great results with available resources.
