Summary
The Market Advocate plays a key role in the development of marketing initiatives for industry-leading property management software company, specifically for the single family market. Must work to clearly define the target audience for single family property management software, and be adept at articulating personas that help drive creative messaging and approach. Working directly with internal product stakeholders, this individual will develop a deep understanding of business objectives, market trends and buyers to ultimately develop marketing strategies that create differentiation and drive sales. Excellent project management skills are necessary to produce integrated marketing campaigns including email, print, digital, video, event and social components. Must be able to report on the status of projects and results to executive level leadership. Must have good planning and time-management skills and be adept at balancing multiple assignments and deadlines. Must be a self-starter who can build a good rapport with internal clients and peers.
Responsibilities
* Develop and execute strategic communications plans for the multifamily market * Understand and have experience with marketing a product(s) across its life cycle from definition to end-of-life, including market requirements, market research and analysis, marketing strategy, planning and execution, positioning and messaging and sales enablement * Effectively work with cross-functional, matrixed team environment with executive presence. * Facilitate collaborative relationships with creative, social, video, digital, automation, and production teams to deliver integrated campaigns on deadline. * Ensure consistency of messaging and branding across all mediums. * Coordinate with sales enablement to socialize campaigns and assets with sales teams. * Conduct interviews with internal clients and customers. * Present plans and results to executives.
Ideal Candidate
* MBA preferred, but not required. * Proven project/account management experience. * Experience with managing projects from start-to-finish. * Minimum of five years of business writing experience. * Experience writing B2B digital content, direct email campaigns, video scripts, articles, strategic communications, and sales collateral. * Strong attention-to-detail with ability to manage multiple projects within strict time frames and deadlines. * Must be flexible and able to work extended hours as deadlines require. * Willingness to adjust to changing priorities and adapt to new products or new projects quickly; multi-tasking required. * Must be able to research topics and fact check, as well as use creativity in presenting all subject matter. * Must be able to sell an idea. * Should be able to collaborate and be autonomous. * Should be polished and speak well in public, as well have experience presenting to executive-level leaders. * Marketing experience required; experience within a technology or property management company a plus. * Proficiency in MS Word and Outlook, with a working knowledge of PowerPoint required. * Experience with content management systems a plus. * Experience trafficking projects and working with project management systems necessary. * Agency experience preferred, but not required.
