Summary
The Payments Billing Specialist manages and oversees responsibilities related to Payments billing and account management. The Payments Billing Specialist assists clients with ACH reject items as well as general client inquiries regarding billing. The position will work closely with Payments Development, Implementations, Contracts, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Sales. This position will also work with the department Sr. Manager to develop processes and procedures that are scalable, repeatable and measurable.
Responsibilities
* Daily data entry into Payments Billing Master for all prior day Payments activations * Maintain impeccable records within Payments Billing Master to ensure accuracy in monthly billing * Prepare monthly billing for Payments ACH and Credit Card and work with Contracts and Finance for accurate reporting * Prepare monthly billing for Propertyware Credit Card and work with Contracts and Finance for accurate reporting * Send Payments monthly billing statements * Work directly with Sales and/or Contracts to resolve all outstanding issues with Payments orders * Daily monitoring of the Payments Reports inbox with timely response to clients and internal partners * Primary for the Payments Billing inbox * Bi-monthly hardware billing for Contracts * Daily reviewing and monitoring deactivations for Payments * Review daily reports from various vendors to resolve client ACH rejects * Work directly with client and/or Implementation Consultant to resolve ACH rejects from start to completion * Maintain all Payments contact lists * Send Payments holiday notices to all clients for bank closures * Remain up-to-date on new products, enhancements, system changes and compliance issues * Maintain high levels of professionalism and customer service at all times * Assist management with monthly, quarterly and annual reporting * Additional duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience * Strong problem solving skills and sound decision making abilities are required * Ability to work well with team member throughout the entire organization. * Must also be able to work with various business partners * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Ability to meet deadlines * Ability to accurately complete various product-related projects in a timely manner * Critical thinking and analytical skills * Proficient knowledge in MS Excel * Pivot table, Vlookup experience preferred * Adobe Acrobat, SalesForce, Mercury and SharePoint experience a plus * Ability to thrive in a fast pace, constantly changing environment * Ability to manage multiple tasks and timeline simultaneously * Ability to work independently * Ability to work extended hours when needed to meet deliverables
