Responsibilities
* Manage the firm’s Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) Program Management Office (PMO), providing subject matter expertise and thought leadership in a large, complex regulatory program with a specific focus on capital, funding, and liquidity regulatory requirements * Develop and manage relationships with program sponsors and partners across business lines and geographic regions, including but not limited to risk, finance, treasury, operations, technology and business management functions * Establish and support the delivery of program-wide communication strategy, and represent the PMO office at various Board-level and Steering committee meetings * Actively manage the overall log of risks and issues, MRA/MRIA remediation tracking, and support program financial reporting * Create metrics to track ongoing regulatory initiatives across LOBs; draft communication plan, publish scorecard and escalate risk mitigation items to Senior Management * Review, test and certify output of CCAR results and documentation for conformance with policies and appropriateness for the robust requirements of CCAR. Make detailed recommendations for changes when necessary * Support various CCAR workstreams to identify and document key regulatory reporting processes, risks and controls that impact RBC’s capital adequacy processes * Advise the Head of CCAR, Regulatory Governance, and Senior Management in Global Risk Management and Finance on the quality of the design of internal controls and escalate areas of concern during and until resolution * Oversee a portfolio of projects and resources to deliver a program control framework as part of wider regulatory reform * The PMO Lead oversees a team of full time employees and external consultants in the overall program management of the CCAR workstreams, and is responsible for determining any additional resourcing needed in the transition to steady-state CCAR compliance
