PMO Program Manager

Tripwire is a leading provider of endpoint detection and response, security, compliance and IT operation solutions for enterprises, service providers and government agencies. Tripwire solutions are based on high-fidelity asset visibility and deep endpoint intelligence combined with business context; together these solutions integrate and automate security and IT operations.

This position is an expansion of Tripwire’s Program Management Office. As a PMO Program Manager, you will be a lifecycle project manager for Tripwire’s commercial security software applications and professional technical services. You will drive the cross-functional program activities required for new product introduction and new service introduction. This includes directing program resources & schedules, program planning & estimation as well as remediation of impediments to scope, predictability and quality. You will also lead team communications and status updates to executive leadership. This position is to be located in Portland Oregon. Relocation packages are not available for this position. You must be authorized to work in the United States.

* Lead a Tripwire software product and/or services product release team. * Accountable for overall execution control of software engineering and software services programs. * Work with a small to mid-sized cross-functional team to ensure product or services launch (encompassing provisioning, serviceability, marketability and quality). * Define and upsell functional deliverables. * Capture business requirements from internal customers. * Ensure that acceptance criteria is captured, defined and validated. * Manage an end-to-end product launch plan. * Quantify the amount of scope of work and other costs required (time, capital budget, variable expenses) to confidently deliver project work. * Define development phases and integration steps. * Lead engineering estimation and cross-functional program planning. * Promote continuous improvement and help teams increase efficiency to maximize capacity, promote predictability and assure software, process quality and compliance. * Ensure effective communication of product-line disposition to the executive team. * Direct the release team’s schedules and program risk remediation. * Enhance and promote the PMO methodology at Tripwire. * Support Agile software development and LEAN management methodologies.

* BS or Master's Degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field. * Minimum 5 years’ project management experience including demonstrated experience with an end-to-end software product development lifecycle. * Three years program management experience preferred. * Proven financial and business acumen, including demonstrated ability to motivate, influence, solve complex problems, and drive change working through the line organization. * Demonstrated experience working with multiple functional areas in a business. * Demonstrated experience with and end-to-end product development cycle and new product introduction. * Demonstrated accountability for continuous improvement. * Experience with an Agile development methodology. * Proficiency with software requirements management. * Proficiency with a technical and business risk management process methodologies. * Communication acuity demonstrating success with: * Influencing skills * Presentation skills * Conflict resolution between functions * Knowledge of VersionOne or a compatible Agility information system standard is desired.
