Responsibilities
**Business Development Manager - Survivability – Domestic and International** * QinetiQ North America (QNA) is renowned for their survivability, unmanned systems, maritime and transportation programs. The survivability division is a world leader in a wide range of defense and security products demonstrated to enhance personnel and platform survivability. QNA is growing its sales team and is currently seeking a Business Development Manager for both Domestic and International markets. This position is responsible for reaching sales objectives for these regions and within strategic accounts. **Primary duties and responsibilities include:** * Identify sales opportunities in market place * Target, pursue, quote and close opportunities. * Develop strong long-term customer relationships with current and prospective customers * Coordinate QinetiQ activity within the customer organization including training, implementation and service and support * Manage overall customer service and experience within the region * Work with production and program management to insure timely order fulfillment * Represent the company in regional and national trade shows * Develop a network of distributors that sell QinetiQ products and support them in their sales efforts * Take ownership of the sales territory through proper forecasting, expense management, time management, and resource management to maximize return on investment * Meet quarterly and annual sales orders and revenue targets * Work with engineering and design teams to address customer needs * Work with engineers to identify emerging opportunities in the marketplace for new products * Understand organization, budgets, and strategic plans * Provide business intelligence to company
Ideal Candidate
**Experience and Education:** * 10+ years’ experience * Knowledge of survivability products * Proven International sales record * UD DOD Contract Experience and/or International government contract experience * Consultative sales * Bachelor’s degree
