Contracts Analyst, Senior

• Assist with the contracting or acquisition life cycle, including pre-award contracting planning, source selection support, and post-award contract management.
• Assist with the development and execution of acquisition and contracting strategies and provide analysis in support of the management of awarded contracts.
• Provide analysis to contracting or acquisition documents, including acquisition plans, source selection plans, determination and findings, justification and approvals, statements of work, CDRLs, DD254s, task and delivery orders, and modification or procurement requests.
• This position is located in San Diego, CA.

• Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Top Secret clearance
• BA or BS degree and 4+ years of experience with acquisition or contracting in a government or government support role or MA or MS degree and 1+ years of experience with acquisition or contracting in a government or government support role
• Experience with Navy and DoD-Experience with DoD Knowledge Management repository tools
• Experience with preparing briefings and reports appropriate for senior government executives
• Experience with FAR, DFAR, and DoD 5000 series regulations and supporting major systems acquisitions
• Knowledge of the DoD Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
• Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
• Possession of excellent customer service skills
• Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level I or Level II in Contracts or Program Management, Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
