Summary
Define a compelling brand marketing strategy that differentiates QBE through strong trading partner and customer insight identification, cultivation and brand positioning. Lead the creation, control and management of all QBE NA brand assets.
Responsibilities
* Define a brand marketing strategy through strong trading partner and customer insight identification, cultivation and brand positioning * Oversee the development, installation, launch and management of a new automated marketing platform to provide QBE with scalable technology * Build a strong operational view of marketing and creative to ensure a solid pipeline of great work, great people and brand building * Develop processes to ensure consistency of QBE’s brand across all marketing and communication vehicles and mediums * Drive the development of a brand asset library and build an internal plan for brand standards and adoption * Build globally brand-aligned, customer-focused deliverables by communicating with key stakeholders across the organization, gathering customer perspective and implementing customer goals * Enhance established business relationships with various communities, the public, government and regulatory authorities, shareholders and employees by serving as a liaison and providing communication on behalf of the business through various media outlets * Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points * Manage the creation, control and management of all QBE NA brand assets * Drive business growth and reputation by maintaining strong working relationships with external contacts, leading special events and publicly speaking as necessary * Lead and collaborate on media and creative experience strategies and on the development of world-class brand marketing capabilities domestically. * Manage a performance enhancement culture by actively coaching and mentoring direct reports, providing regular feedback and developing employees for wider roles and responsibilities to foster professional growth and development * Manage budgeted resources by anticipating expenditures, accurately forecasting resource needs/costs and properly accounting for expenses to meet requirements and achieve fiscal responsibility * Create a positive environment by modeling cultural expectations and guiding leaders to reward performance and value "can do" people, accountability, diversity and inclusion, flexibility, continuous improvement, collaboration, creativity and fun * Model QBE values in personal work behaviors, decision-making, contributions and interpersonal interactions; manage own career development by soliciting feedback and valuing other perspectives
Ideal Candidate
**Education** * Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience **Experience** * 10+ years relevant experience **Preferred Qualifications** **Education** * Master's Degree **Experience** * Experience in marketing, social media, search engine optimization, insurance industry **Knowledge** * Working knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods of alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral and visual media * Strong comprehension of events affecting the industry, including understanding of competition, the marketplace, and program rules * Working knowledge of programs and best practices around delivery of organizational communication affecting internal and external participants * Advanced knowledge of current and possible future policies, practices, trends, technology and information affecting business and organization; knows how the business works * Advanced working knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, and coordination of people and resources * Principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, including marketing strategy and tactics, branding, product demonstration, and sales techniques **Skills** * Build and maintain professional networks and channels of communication inside and outside the organization * Communicate outside and across the organization and share information as a positive aid to achieve best practice and objectives * Network at conferences, work-related social gatherings and business meetings * Establish long-range objectives and specify the strategies and actions to achieve them * Provide appropriate structure, direction and feedback * Adapt and be flexible in a complex changing environment * Communicate information in a clear, well-organized, and professional manner * Understand the needs and goals of a customer and actively look for ways to meet them * Effectively present thoughts to key stakeholders to influence adoption of innovative recommendations **Abilities** * Drive execution of plans * Influence organizational leaders and key stakeholders * Motivational, inspirational and enthusiastic approach to team leading and management * Provide vision and think creatively and innovatively * Establish and maintain effective, trusting and respectful relationships * Work with people at different levels within the organization to accomplish a common goal * Use multiple resources to gather and analyze information and use logic to address work-related issues and problems **Work Environment** * Travel frequency * Frequent (approximately10+ trips annually)
