Responsibilities
* Manages and resolves the technical issues involving AV equipment * Works closely with the client contact to identify needed repairs, troubleshoot and perform the repair and improvement of the technical conferencing environment * Works closely with the client contact to design, implement and test new rooms. Manages the project * Responsible for the integrity of allocated rooms * Perform regular room checks * Ensure that relevant ‘help’ documentation is available in the room * Provide in room meeting support * Set up of meetings, assist in VTC set up with the Help Desk * Assist in the set up & support of high level, multi room events * Perform advanced troubleshooting on any non-functional AV equipment * Escalate any technical issues found in the rooms and assist with any break / fix work * Assist in Preventative Maintenance checks and coordinate Maintenance with the vendors * Assist the team in any other activity assigned by the Team Lead
Ideal Candidate
* Basic knowledge of H.320 and H.323 video conferencing standards * Experience Troubleshooting AV/VTC Conferencing systems * 2 - 3 years of experience in the AV/VTC field * Extensive work experience with major video conferencing equipment, preferably CISCO * Working knowledge of and experience with ISDN and IP network infrastructure and implementation (PRI, BRI, T3, T1, ATM, Frame Relay, Video over IP and SIP) H.323 endpoints, gateways, multipoint control units, gatekeepers, firewalls, and session board controllers. * Major OEM video end system/unit certification desired * Experience with Mobile Devices is a plus
