Summary

Our client, a global financial services firm and a market leader in securities, asset management and credit services, is seeking a Data Network Architect.

Responsibilities
  • Role is to develop a strategy and define the top-level architecture in major areas of the company data network, specifically the Global WAN backbone, Metro networks and next-generation programmable Datacenter infrastructures.
  • Role includes strategy and architecture development, associated vendor engagement, POC testing and documentation deliverables suitable for review and ratification at Senior Management and CTO governance structure level.
Ideal Candidate
  • Datacenter technologies: Cisco NX-OS/Arista/Juniper switching platforms and OS variants.
  • Virtualization/Automation/SDN techniques: Nuage/Cisco ACI/Contrail/BGP-EVPN/OVSDB
  • Service Provider platforms and technologies: MPLS, LDP, BGP, OSPF, QoS, RSVP-TE, Segment Routing IOS-XR, IOS-XE, CRS/ASR/NCS Platforms.
  • Experienced in large-scale Network or Cloud Service Provider network design and testing.
  • Knowledge of NFV and Service Chaining techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills for publication and socialization of deliverables.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent level
