Responsibilities
* Receives and logs Co-Op advertising (with back up) into Access database. * Reviews to ensure that the Co-Op advertising spending submitted for agencies with contracts does not exceed the amount contracted. * Verifies that documentation and back-up are correct and in compliance with the Co-op Marketing Guide. * Verifies correct dollar amount for payment, recalculates dollars billed to ensure accurate share is being apportioned to Princess/Cunard, and advises Business Development Manager if more information is needed. * Reviews ads for pricing and content * Reviews special agency pricing initiatives to ensure quality control and communication of details to accounts. * Responds to customer service requests for National Account Headquarters including pricing, ad review, booking and policy questions. * Coordinates and supports company and sales annual events including presentations, PowerPoint design, and templates. * Coordinates in port functions including coordination with ship and creates sends and tracks invitations to travel agents. * Assists with trade shows and conventions including; secures booths and equipment needed, orders collateral items and reserves hotel rooms for attendees. * Completes miscellaneous reports such as Group Reports, Agency Revenue Reports, Growth Goal Reports, AAA Vacation Report, National Account Cruise Sale Calendar, and other agency revenue reports as requested. * Annually updates North American websites for policy content.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. * Two or more years of experience in sales, preferably in the travel/hospitality industry. * Knowledge of travel agency business models is a plus. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Proficient in MicroSoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. **Additional Information** * This position is in a department that has adopted a 9/80 alternative workweek schedule.
