Summary
The Learning and Development Manager is a highly proactive able to understand evolving business priorities and synthesize complex information to develop high-impact learning content for Persado professionals. The role requires a program design expert who can design relevant curriculum through various channels (e-learning, video, classroom).
Responsibilities
* Lead the design of all of Persado’s Learning and Development initiatives by partnering business leaders and department heads to execute entire learning & development framework to align with business and culture objectives. * Recommend the best training solutions which may include a Learning and Development solution that includes a blended approach to learning such as e-learning, classroom training, 1:1 session, action learning. * Partner with business leaders and managers to identify training needs and trends within the business. * Proactively use technology, industry best practices, external networking, and alternative learning methods to continue to evolve learning and development activities. * Manage training operations including planning, communications, and administration. * Evolve training assessment and evaluation methods to measure individual success and program effectiveness, and to continuously improve resources * Draw on internal and external resources to ensure the design and delivery of high quality programs, materials, and other learning and development resources and activities. These may include e-learning, self-paced, ILT and other facilitated learning activities.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree and minimum of 5-10 years of Learning and Development/ Organizational Development experience is required. * An L&D professional who has had experience creating a Learning department from the ground up. CMPT/CPLP is required. * Extensive experience using e-learning, content/ curriculum development, and LMS tools. * Ability to thrive in a fast paced, highly collaborative and team-oriented environment. * Able to see the big picture and work on strategy while being hands on with the day to day function * Comfortable facilitating meetings and creating and delivering training and presentations to a variety of audiences. On-line and distance delivery experience using collaboration tools such as WebEx or Lync is a plus.
