Summary
The Marketing Assistant is a critical member of the marketing team supporting all marketing communications efforts related to corporate communications, branding and Loan Officer marketing. The primary function is to manage and service Loan Officer requests to ensure they are communicated with promptly and deadlines are met.
Responsibilities
* Working with the Production Manager to handle requests from Loan Officers by providing exceptional customer service: answers questions, provides information, researches and resolves problems. * Coordinates department activities with vendors (promo, printers, mailing houses, etc.) * Assists with marketing research * Checks schedules, production and distribution arrangements and other details to ensure timely completion and quality control of marketing activities and publications * Setup and coordinate meetings * Perform general clerical duties * Support team in assigned projects * Provide design support for postcards, flyers and other requested templated collateral * Assist in recommending and procuring promotional materials * Special projects or other duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or a related field required. * 1-3 years of prior experience supporting a corporate marketing team preferred. **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** * Strong work ethic and positive attitude. * Ability to work independently; to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines. * Detail-oriented, with strong organizational, problem-solving and administrative skills. * Willing to learn and be open to suggestions/ideas to improve productivity and efficiency. * Committed to providing superior work product. * Have excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to exercise judgment and suggest creative approaches to new issues. * Possesses initiative and thrives in a fast-paced work environment. * Is team-oriented and flexible in assuming new responsibilities as they arise. * Basic or Intermediate level in Adobe InDesign is highly desired. * Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
