- Designing and building web pages using a variety of applications, techniques and tools. Developing graphics, user interface features, site navigation and overall site design.
- Creating graphics that support internal and external communications through inter/intranets, e-mail and websites.
- Offer graphic design ideas, solutions and alternatives based on customer input for (but not limited to) logos, product brochures, catalogs, product packaging, training materials, forms, flyers, and web design.
- Familiarity in PR, Social Media, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
- Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Familiarity with PHP, JQuery/JavaScript, and MySQL a plus.
- Ability to write clean standardized code.
- Thorough understanding of tools, current technology, trends and design principles and how they may apply in public health.
- Ability to create, direct and execute social media initiatives.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe Reader/Writer.
- Able to think strategically and work independently, with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills, including experience working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Expert user and active explorer of technology.
- Able to work in a team setting.
- Experience in mobile design and development valued.
- Ability to physically assist in a video production environment, working collaboratively with instructional staff.
- Ability to record, edit, organize, and compress analog and digital audio, video, and graphic content.

- Knowledge of and proven experience with graphic design and usability principles associated with developing interfaces that conform to requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (Section 508).
- Work as part of a team and actively participate in internal kick-offs, brainstorming sessions and reviews.
- Design to creative strategies that enhance marketing campaigns, digital initiatives and communications.
- Ability to develop creative that follow creative briefs and adhere to business objectives.
- Juggle multiple projects while developing high-quality creative and meeting deadlines.
**Required Experience:**
- Some college or higher education.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in related fields.
- Minimum of two years of experience in front-end web design, web-based applications, and multimedia, preferably with public health applications.
