Summary
As a Payroll Team Lead, you will perform the payroll processing function; including but not limited to, entry and maintenance of time keeping edits, adjustments, voluntary deductions, involuntary deductions, and review/analysis of applicable payroll reports. Additionally, the Team Leader assists the Manager in providing guidance to payroll staff and performs some of the more complex payroll functions. The Team Leader also assists the Managers during the coordination and integration of facility payroll processes to the Payroll Service Center during the Legacy payroll consolidation and Lawson system migration processes. A Team Leader will transition from processing payroll in the Legacy system to the Lawson system, based on established migration schedules.
Responsibilities
This position, in general, is responsible for daily payroll processing functions, is a key contact for facility personnel (based on assigned facilities), and is a resource to payroll staff. * Completes some of the more complex payroll functions; including, ensuring that payroll files have been generated and transmitted for assigned facilities, quarterly and year-end balancing * Acts as a resource to Payroll Service Center staff; providing guidance and assistance as directed by the Manager, assists with training on on-boarding of new staff * Facilitates strong customer service relationships * Assists facility personnel/applicable accounting staff in research and resolution of payroll transactions as applicable
