Summary
Outdoor Voices is looking for an experienced and passionate Manager of Performance and Retention Marketing to join our young team in Austin, TX. You will leverage direct marketing tactics (CRM, email, direct mail, retargeting, search, etc) to maximize the lifetime value of existing OV customers. You will own the strategy and tactical execution of all elements of the retention consumer experience as well as ongoing optimization.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement evergreen and ad hoc strategies across company that encourage customer retention and loyalty (including email, direct mail, service, events, retargeting) * Influence CRM design and implementation to power strategic retention and loyalty initiatives across multiple channels Oversee day-to-day execution of OV’S email program, including: coding emails, creating/segmenting lists, tagging links, scheduling emails, setting up tests, quality assurance * Set up of new automations and workflows, maintenance/QA and optimizations of automations in place * Maintain retention calendar and partner with marketing counterparts on annual planning * Develop and implement testing roadmap to further improve performance. * Work with internal teams and outside vendors to execute evergreen and ad hoc retention campaigns * Create campaign forecasts, performance reports, and ROI analysis. * Partner with analytics team for development of thoughtful reporting of customer journey and impact of initiatives * Develop and share insights / strategic recommendations to enhance marketing team performance and increase impact to business * Build, implement, and optimize all performance media (search, shopping, retargeting) to maximize revenue
Ideal Candidate
* 5+ years of experience within CRM, email, and performance media * Experience working with an ESP, ExactTarget/Salesforce Marketing Cloud highly preferred * Strong understanding of email best practices and CAN-SPAM compliance, as well as email compliance rules globally * Excellent interpersonal skills and team player mentality * Exceptional oral and written presentation and communication skills * Result-driven mentality * A "no task is too small" attitude * Strong project management and organizational skills * Strong analytical aptitude and ability to draw insight from data * Analytical curiosity and self-driven to understand marketing performance through data * Developed CRM strategy, contact strategy, and campaign optimization, leveraging predictive analytics for targeting and segmentation of campaigns
