HTML Email Developer for Future Need

Sandbox New York is looking for an experienced HTML Email Developer who knows how to build a responsive HTML email by hand from layer comps in a PSD. This role functions as part of a team that helps to create personalized, multi-faceted customer marketing campaigns that deliver results—including sophisticated CRM programs built on our proprietary automated email development platform. This role will be based in-office and is fulltime.

* Possessing the ability to understand when to use fluid layouts and where to put breakpoints. * Testing across all modern desktop, mobile, and webmail clients to ensure accuracy/usability * Creating landing pages and front-end websites. * Taking part in peer code reviews and adhering to our established coding guidelines.

You must have 3+ years of professional experience hand-coding HTML emails, ability to work equally well with legacy table-based HTML emails and modern HTML5 websites, advanced knowledge of responsive coding practices and testing, and familiarity with version control systems like SVN and Git. Also, previous experience with CSS preprocessors (Less/SaaS), JQuery, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget) and/or CheetahMail is preferred.
