Summary
The Loan Administration Specialist will provide servicing support on loans originated by RED Capital Group, effective from when loan closes through the time in which the loan pays off or is liquidated. In this position, the team member will be responsible for managing various tasks throughout the loan servicing process, including but not limited to: boarding new loans, collecting financial and inspection information, processing escrow disbursements, and other loan level information for the life of the loan.
Responsibilities
* Assist with the collection, review and preliminary analysis of property operations statements by specified due dates in a timely manner * Process disbursements from escrow accounts, such as replacement reserves, R4R, and completion repair, in accordance with departmental and investor guidelines * Assist with the site inspection documentation process, including the following: tracking inspection details, ordering inspections, communication with borrowers and management agents, processing follow up documentation and delivering information to investors * Provide direct communication with investors to provide updates and answer loan level questions * Board new loans into the McCracken Strategy system for all product types, then complete follow up tasks once loan has been passed * Generate manual bills using the internal billing application for special credit-enhanced products * Prepare UCC continuations and/or terminations for state and county jurisdictions for timely recording in collaboration with a third party vendor * Prepare payoff/ IRR calculations for all product types in accordance with investor and departmental guidelines * Assist in the preparation of document releases and terminations * Respond to all internal and external customer inquiries in a timely, accurate and professional manner * Cross-train in various functions of the department to as directed by the manager * Provide regular status updates to manager regarding any outstanding items or deadlines * All other duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate
* High school diploma or equivalent required with an Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred * 1-2 years’ experience in commercial loan servicing * Previous experience with the McCracken Strategy system a plus * Position requires focus and attention to detail * Independent worker with strong project management skills and ability to adjust to ever changing environment * Proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative to seek out additional tasks and responsibilities * Ability to work well under pressure, adjust to varied workloads, multitask, and handle sensitive/confidential information * Excellent communication and organization skills * Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint * Previous experience with McCracken Strategy system a plus * This position requires access to sensitive and confidential information. It is expected that this information remain confidential both internally and external to the company.
