**Minimum Qualifications:**
New York State Registered Nurse License with 5 years of professional work experience, including three years of experience with quality improvement and safety science methodologies and tools.
**Preferred:**
Masters Degree; Certification such as IHI Improvement Advisor or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Quality improvement experience with multi-disciplinary teams. Experience teaching safety principles and working within healthcare setting facilitating / leading clinical teams.

Professional Experience and Qualifications:Leadership Skills: facilitation, coaching, consulting, influencing, building capability, effective oral and written communication and presentation skills, meeting management, change management. Excellent interpersonal skills leading to ability to clearly articulate ideas and concepts in non-judgmental and non-confrontational ways. Emotional intelligence, strategic thinking and planning, mentoring of faculty and staff at all levels of leadership within Childrens Services.
Technical QI and Safety Methodology: measurement development, goal setting, impact/effort analysis, process flow diagraming, data analysis, SPC tools (graph selection, creation, and interpretation), high reliability concepts, change concepts, annual/90 day plans, brainstorming, systems thinking, cause analysis.
Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required. Proficiency with MS Access, MS Visio, Minitab, and MS Project preferred
