Summary
1. To track online insights and conversations that will be used to align digital and communication strategies with end-users needs. 2. To research trends in Social Media, research popular Social Media platforms and study emerging Social Media tools. 3. Increase awareness and educate key stakeholders across Novartis business about insight and listening opportunities to support business goals
Responsibilities
Continuously track and analyze customer insights in Social Media and bring actual meaning to the data collected. Provide recommendations to improve decision making, company perception and brand sentiment among key target audiences. Drive real time data collection from all relevant Social Media platforms with cutting-edge tools. Research and anticipate trends in Social Media, popular Social Media platforms (e.g Twitter, Pinterest, etc) and emerging Social Media tools. Proactively define how they influence brand sentiment and Customer Satisfaction
Ideal Candidate
**Minimum requirements** • Bachelor’s or equivalent 4-Year university degree required. Major in Information Science, Social Science, Statistics, or related field preferred • > 5 Years experience in communications and/or social media, ideally in agency or multinational corporate environment • Extensive experience with web & Social Media analytics, market research, Social Media platforms & networks • Fluent English. Bi lingual Spanish a plus • Strong analytical skills/expertise in statistical methods (incl. qualitative data analysis), sentiment analysis, text mining methods, and validation models, etc. • Expert knowledge of tracking Social Media campaigns across multiple channels • Expertise in latest tools used in Social Listening • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills - Ability to adapt style to communicate at all levels of the organization. • Ability to manage stakeholders and influence across a cross-functional matrix organization • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously • Proactive, entrepreneurial approach to recognizing needs and anticipating issues and solving problems • Strong project management skills • Adaptability and flexibility – willingness to take on new assignments outside of responsibilities
