Product Manager

Product Manager who will be responsible HughesON managed services for Wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) and Security services. This position works closely with Product Engineers, Marketing, and Sales to set the vision and drive revenues for these services. The ideal candidate is someone who has experience in a product management role and a passion for building great products that customers love. They will use data and metrics to evaluate problems and advocate for approaches. They will bring energy and domain expertise to help crack complex business problems.

* Continuously assess customer needs, technology trends, and major competitors * Gather feature requirements from key customers (end customers, product marketing, and sales organization) for designing new products and services * Develop and maintain strategic product roadmap and priorities. Communicate to internal and external stakeholders * Become recognized as the internal expert on services * Partner with marketing teams to develop product positioning and collaterals * Write product briefs and specifications, and collaborate with design, launch management, engineering and marketing teams to drive new product initiatives * Communicate your product vision and priorities for expansion to internal and external stakeholders * Assume ownership of all product deliverables throughout all phases of the Product Life Cycle * Manage third-party developers and partners, along with influencing future product feature planning with strategic partners * Develop internal and external presentations as the face of your product * Support sales teams as subject matter expert on key opportunities

* Security and/or WLAN (Wi-Fi) technical experience highly preferred * Demonstrated track record of product development and management – from initial concept, requirements gathering, development/deployment planning, implementation, launch, testing, analysis, iteration, to end-of-life planning * Ability to demonstrate creative problem solving, thoughtful product scoping, and flexibility in a fast-moving environment * Excellent communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills * Proven experience working with large cross-functional team, coordinating many stakeholders and making strategic product decisions * Ability to work effectively with engineering to set realistic goals and stay on track * MBA a plus * CISSP/ WLAN Certification preferred **Basic Requirements:** * B.S in Electrical/Computer engineering is required * 5+ years work experience in a product management role
