Responsibilities
* Incumbent will supervise and oversee billing team comprised of staff of two full-time billing personnel responsible for supporting all aspects of the billing and collection of Cash Management services fees for services. * Incumbent will ensure staff adheres to billing procedures in accordance to our CMS services and each branch processing requirements as defined in the departmental procedures for our Financial Institution Clients, New York Client, and Chicago Clients with the goal of a 100 percent error-free environment. * Incumbent will perform daily and monthly workflow analysis to proactively identify potential deficiencies and develop sustainable solutions to close gaps, which were identified to eliminate any manual processing. * Incumbent will spearhead monthly and ad-hoc meetings with billing staff, branches and Sales to discuss pertinent billing matters that occurred throughout the previous monthly and create detailed monthly management reports. * Incumbent will ensure timely completion and delivery of monthly Sarbanes-Oxley and other Regulatory requirements to ensure TBOA/CMS and Bank (BTMU) is Compliant. * In this role, the incumbent must be proactive in ensuring that the billing team staff is constantly striving to achieve the highest standards **Major Responsibilities:** * Oversee the creation and maintenance of CMS Customer Billing Profiles. * Determine the need for additional service codes and pricing tables and implement. * Work with CMS Sales staff to help determine billing requirements. * Analyze and create customer billing account structure. * Update back-office systems to set appropriate balance compensation and set account reporting requirements. * Oversee the coordination and execution of monthly Billing Tasks. * Ensure system download files are received on schedule. * Update CAA conversion table with new service codes. * Oversee the back-office billing volume feeds through conversion program, which include receipt, pre-edit, and posting of billing data feeds from Systematics (DDA), PEP+ (ACH), NETS (BTMU Innovation), BNY Mellon Bank (Controlled Disbursement & Lockbox), CPS-BESS (Wire Transfer), BankOne Lockbox, ex-UFJ Local Lockbox, and Chicago Lockbox; and review exception reports for errors. * Perform the manual posting of customer exception pricing requirements and the analysis and execution of requested monthly billing adjustments. * Review and process local lockbox volumes from NY (ex-UFJ) and Chicago. * Coordinate all billing tasks performed by additional staff members and review results before proceeding with billing cycle. * Perform special review of Chicago billing analysis and make manual adjustments at the request of the Chicago branch. * Generate monthly CMS Customer billing statements and coordinate statement printing with external department. * Create auto posting file containing customer fee debit transactions and coordinate the execution of customer debits. * Perform manual CMS Customer fee payments process, in which manual financial transactions must be created each month for the proper posting of CMS fees. * Perform billing cycle closeout procedures. * Perform CAA Billing System backup procedure. * Perform manual financial transactions created for the movement of collected Chicago lockbox fees from the New York CMS fee accounts to the Chicago CMS fee accounts. * Oversee the BNY Mellon Bank Lockbox and Controlled Disbursement Billing Review. * Perform monthly review of BNY Mellon Bank account analysis statement to look for discrepancies in changes. * Perform comparison of the BNY Mellon Bank BTMU invoice with the BNY Mellon Bank BTMU customer analysis file. * Report financial discrepancies to BNY Mellon Bank for correction. * Oversee regular maintenance of Billing Environments. * CAA Billing System Software Support. * Perform software version updates, patches and releases. * Perform verification of server software patches. * Maintain UAT environment for testing and modeling. * CAA Billing System Production Support * Perform CAA Security requests. * Technical Support/Weiland Liaison. * CAA Billing System Development * Research and define improvements to the billing work flow. * Perform UAT for new processes and procedures. * CAA Billing System/Management Report Analysis/Development * Perform Analysis to determine reporting needs of CMS Management and Sales. * Create report models and “what if” scenarios. * Implement newly developed reports into CAA production environment. * Produce required audit reports. * Coordinate monthly billing meetings. * Discuss billing monthly billing issues and resolution. * Report month to year analysis to show overall improvements. * Report any changes as it relates to product pricing for PanAM, eGateway or Mellon services. * Prepare meeting minutes with action items, takeaways and follow-up dates. * Disseminate formalized minutes to direct manager and participants.
Ideal Candidate
* Hand-on data warehouse ETL developer with 3-5 years of financial industry experience designing and implementing DW/BI solutions. * Strong hands-on experience with ETL tools including Informatica PowerCenter is required. * 3-5 years of Informatica ETL, 3+ years of Database programming, SQL and DB2. * Exposure to Dimensional Models is highly desired. * Experience in functional and design documents creation is a must. * Experience in Regulatory Reporting is a plus. * Exposure to commercial lending and market products such as loans, deposits, treasury, and options and futures is highly desirable. * Successful track-record in implementing large projects. * Ability to work effectively under aggressive deadlines and in challenging settings. * Must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to interface with all levels of business and IT organizations. * Experience with various SDLC methodologies.
