We are looking for a Manager of Clinical Support at our Chicago location, who would report to our Chief Operations Officer. We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.
- Ensures that clinical staff complies with Federal and State regulatory requirements, as well as the Policies and Procedures of MOR.
- Supervises clinical staff within the facility including participation in hiring, orientation, promotion, discipline, evaluation, and transfer/termination in accord with MOR Policies and Procedures.
- Ensure the clinical team is cooperating with any new policies and procedures specifically developed to support bundled payment initiatives.
- Ensure the clinical team is utilizing the electronic medical record to its full and practice endorsed capacity.
- Works closely with physicians, physician assistants, medical assistants, and other clinical staff to ensure that patient days run on schedule.
- Participate in problem solving with patients, physicians, clinical staff, administration, etc. Report/document problems as appropriate, and provide disciplinary action to staff supervised, as needed.
- Schedule clinical staff hours including coverage. Monitor and maintain time off for clinical staff. Provide coverage for practices, as needed.
- Schedule and attend staff meetings at a facility level, one on one with supervised staff, and with the management team.
- Work in conjunction with HR and supervising physician in recruiting clinical personnel.
- Stays abreast of and complies with all State and Federal laws including HIPAA, OSHA, and FLSA.
- Adapt to change in positive and professional manner.
- Any and all other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor of Science in PA studies, Nursing, or related field.
- Masters preferred.
- Active PA, RN, or APN license in the state of Illinois.
