- Design and develop tooling and fixtures to effectively manufacture new products.
- Troubleshoot equipment and procedures.
- Create and maintain the documentation necessary to ensure the consistent manufacture of Medtronic Neurovascular products (processes, drawings and shop floor paperwork)
- Maintain current production processes and assist in smooth transfer of new processes onto the production line.
- Develop and execute process characterization, validation and material qualification plans
- Apply fundamental engineering principles to create practical solutions to technical challenges and provide technical support across functions
- Assist in the transfer of newly developed products from R&D to Production.
- Writing and executing protocol and test reports.
- Work closely with QC to produce products that meet specifications and perform as designed.

- Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree (Mechanical, Biomedical or related technical field)
- Minimum 1 year of related engineering experience
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Reading and producing drawings
- Equipment and tooling design
- Supervisory and motivational skills
- Able to relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills
- Computer literate; word processing, spreadsheets,
- SolidWorks / AutoCad
- QSR and ISO 9000 training
- Recognize problems and take corrective measures
- Organized, team player
- Self-directed with high ethical standards
