Entry - Level Civil Engineer

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Civil Engineer with a focus in Construction Management for employment in our Los Angeles office. AECOM is searching for candidates that have the ability to be a role model, be client-focused, be impactful and be decisive. In this role, entry-level technical new hires are eligible to participate in AECOM’s Graduate Development Program (GDP), a 2-year development experience designed to support assimilation into the organization, help with technical development planning toward licensure (or other early technical milestones), and with creating a foundation of knowledge necessary for future career success.

• Assist Construction Managers, Project Managers and Engineers to successfully deliver design-build projects in the Federal sector
• Perform standard computations or analysis
• Prepare drawings and visual aids
• Assist with submittals, RFI’s, change orders, etc.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering or other related field required
• Capable of using spreadsheet, word processing and standard office software
• Basic knowledge of industry standard computer software for the position (examples include software such as CADD, HCS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS, Hydrologic/Hydraulic models)

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) preferred
