Summary
The Accountant will perform various day-to-day accounting responsibilities, including balance sheet reconciliations; creating journal transactions to the general ledger, compiling documentation to support recorded transactions, and researching transactions to apply accurate accounting treatment. This individual will work with others throughout the organization to obtain information to perform assigned duties and will assist in other general accounting projects as needed. Maintaining documentation standards and providing timely and accurate information is essential.
Responsibilities
* Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations for various accounts. Identify and research unusual items to analyze, document and resolve. * Accurately input data into accounting related software. * Prepare and maintain monthly and yearly accounting schedules. * Create and post journal transactions to the general ledger ensuring proper accounting. * Assist with the documenting and monitoring internal controls * Perform other accounting tasks that make be required from time to time including assisting with accounting related projects. * Respond in a timely manner to the information needs of management as requested. * Answer accounting and financial questions by interpreting data. * Maintain all source and other documentation according to the standards and policies established for the PAC. * Contribute to and participate in the cross-training objectives of the PAC and serve as back-up for cross-trained responsibilities. * Communication with Manager, Operations Accounting, regarding any issues or problems that may arise.

Oracle experience is a plus. **Other Qualifications** May be required to commit to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals and/or deadlines.
