Senior Software Solutions Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated software engineer to leverage their software development prowess and help our customers from various industries and applications on their software integration workflows. You will be working with multiple disciplines – C++, Java, .NET, COM, Python, Hadoop, threading, multi-processing across Windows, Linux and OS X.

* Lead the resolution of escalated and advanced technical issues. * Propose innovative solutions and develop prototypes to address customer needs and influence the direction of MathWorks’ products. * Work as a part of the product development team to facilitate source code modifications, improve our products, and debug complex issues. * Train and mentor our existing support specialists to invest and increase their technical abilities.

**Minimum Qualifications** * A bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree) is required. **Additional Qualifications** * Candidates must be interested in working with customers to understand their real engineering challenges and to help them understand how to apply our products to their problems * Industry experience of at least 2 of the following: C/C++, C#, .NET, Java, JavaScript, Python * Knowledge of development tool chain for Windows and either Linux, or Mac OSX * Demonstrated ability to perform software application development tasks, computational analysis and algorithmic design * Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills * Excellent verbal and written communication skills **Desirable:** * Knowledge of database environments including database management and protocols * Knowledge of parallel computing and multithreading * Experience with web-based application development technologies * Experience of MATLAB interfaces like MEX, MATLAB engine, or using Java from MATLAB * Experience of using MATLAB for application deployment
