Responsibilities
* Partner with U.S. and Canada Wholesale Sales Leadership team along with Product and Brand Marketing functions to develop channel specific solutions aimed at expanding penetration and profitability in Wholesale. * Work with Wholesale Channel Sales VP and Business Leader to analyze, develop and execute long term & innovative Wholesale channel strategy, leveraging our core strengths as the industry continues to evolve. * Development and execution of effective pull-through marketing strategies for all trade professional segments and influencers- minimizing channel conflicts - balancing selling tools, product, price, service & availability needs for all potential Masonite down channel customers. * Specific management of APD (All Products Distributor) members and other key customer’s annual planning process including development and management of budgets, facilitation and tracking of all custom collateral development and display initiatives & development and management of unique programming and loyalty programs down channel for dealers and builders/consumers. * Develop and drive annual channel marketing plan and budget to meet company and channel objectives. * Lead Wholesale Channel Merchandising strategy and effectively manage annual display budgets. * Develop, organize, and facilitate all channel specific communication in conjunction with other cross functional marketing departments within Masonite including brand, marketing and product management (campaigns, announcements, direct mail, etc. - working w/ Masonite Sales Team and Product Managers). * Leveraging new product launches through implementation of communication plan, merchandising, POP, and sales training aids * Partner with Digital Marketing, Ecommerce, and IT teams to drive forward looking digital strategies and solutions for Wholesale Channel. * Develop, deliver & promote Masonite selling tools: presentations, competitive comparisons, samples, displays, product kits, * Work with product marketing to gather, research & incorporate VOC in all marketing activities.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s Degree Required: Major in marketing or Business MBA is preferred * 7-10 years of Senior sales and marketing experience in building product, hard goods or consumer goods, Wholesale Distribution Channel * Project management, clearly articulating project scope and objectives, meeting deadlines, time management, contingency planning, approval channels and procedures, budgeting, and tracking/monitoring success. * Customer service orientation, complete customer focus, driven to meet or exceed customer expectations. * Able to interpret and disseminate information. * Ability to develop systems to track and manage various data requirements, able to prepare prescribed reports, complete/detailed analysis, determine effectiveness of sales and marketing campaigns. * Must be Windows PC computer and internet literate; possess advanced word processing, database and spreadsheet skills with the following applications: MS Office Suite, Word, PowerPoint, Excel; Access preferred. * Ability to change course/tasks based on the changing needs of the business – flexibility. * Ability to build technical/market/business aptitude: product literacy and key points of differentiation, knows our target markets and what motivates buying decisions, overall understanding of our business, marketing materials and industry jargon. * Detail-oriented, thorough, strong follow through, sense of urgency. * Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally with various departments throughout the company. * Excellent oral and written communication skills.
