Summary
Mashable is seeking an Account Manager with experience in both proposal strategy and campaign execution. The Account Manager will be responsible for brainstorming, coordinating pre-sale collateral, leading campaign execution, monitor campaign success and act as a main point of contact for agency and client communication. Responsibilities
* Work alongside Sales Directors / Executives in managing relationships with key agency personnel throughout the pre and post sales process * Liaise with Sales, Integrated Marketing and Ad Operations to develop strategic proposals adhering to defined business processes * Brainstorm and strategize with Integrated Marketing and Branded Content teams to create contextually relevant offerings for potential advertisers * Create media plans that align with and exceed advertiser KPIs, ensure successful delivery and optimal performance * Manage full sale communications and deliverables * Respond to client requests and queries in a timely and courteous fashion * Communicate ad specs and creative lead times to advertisers and agencies * Interface with multiple internal departments to coordinate campaign approvals, implementation and performance tracking * Monitor ongoing campaigns to ensure delivery * Provide recaps and delivery reports to client as campaign follow up
Ideal Candidate
**Must Haves** * 2+ years working at a top tier publisher or agency * BA/BS degree in a related field with a strong academic record * Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint * Ability to think creatively, sell strategically, and communicate efficiently internally and externally * Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills * Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment * Knowledge of various reporting platforms * In-depth knowledge of web culture * Excellent analytical, verbal, written communication and project management skills **Nice to Haves** * Understanding of Branded Content, Social Media, and Native Advertising * Experience with Salesforce, DFP, and Asana * Experience with DFP, DSM, iDesk, Atlas, Mediavisor or similar software
