Come join the fastest-growing business division at Gilt! The Business Development team identifies viable key growth initiatives for Gilt related to media sales and creates custom content and native advertising solutions for advertisers. The ideal candidate will be a creative, self-motivated and energetic seller who is confident and at ease with calling on key clients and agencies.
- Source and close media fee partnerships, both short-term and long-term
- Own and manage specific categories and/or agency relationships
- Create programming and marketing plans that include, but are not limited to: native digital content, event sponsorships, curated event series, and retail voucher sales
- Represent Gilt at conferences and external client meetings
- Conduct analyses of key areas for business growth and expansion
- Manage approval and closure of partnerships by liaising between invested internal teams
- Assist with creation of partner pitches and internal presentations and reports
- Organize pipeline and revenue projections for management
- 2-4 years experience selling digital media
- Knowledge of key industries, most importantly consumer electronics and entertainment (film/TV) as well as retail, CPG, alcohol, automotive, travel, and more
- Understanding of how digital agencies operate and interact with brand marketers
- Expert in building and maintaining strategic partnerships and internal/external relationships
- Achievement-oriented, detail-oriented, and results-driven
- Analytical and data-focused
- Self-starting and eager to initiate and own new projects
- Collaborative and enthusiastic about being part of a tight-knit team environment
- Highly organized with a deep appreciation for efficiency
- Naturally reflective of existing processes and procedures and how to improve them
- Intellectually curious
- Excellent verbal and oral communication skills
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- B.A. or B.S. from a top academic institution
- Proven track record of breaking new business and developing creative
- solutions
- Salesforce experience a plus
