Treasury Manager

Lockton is currently looking for a Treasury Manager in Kansas City. The Treasury Manager is responsible for the cash management activities for Lockton’s U.S. operations. This position will manage a team responsible for the following activities: daily cash positioning, short-term investing, bank fee analysis, bank account documentation, cash issue resolution, central treasury transactions and debt and interest payments.
- Provides strategic thought leadership relating to treasury operations and cash management improvements
- Leads and manages treasury projects including coordination with other departments and third party service providers and ensures successful completion
- Monitors and manages the daily cash position for the Company’s U.S. operations
- Conducts investing activities
- Oversees the development and preparation of treasury reports for distribution to the Board of Directors and Investment Committee
- Develops and manages policies, procedures, operational control and standards and ensures compliance
- Stays current on banking services and evaluates applicability
- Monitors external bank accounts usage and makes recommendations on closing and opening accounts
- Prepares and manages annual budgets and forecasts for interest income, interest expense and bank fees
- Responsible for the general ledger activity and related reconciliations for treasury-related accounts
- Manages bank and brokerage relationships to ensure service level agreements are being met and issues are being resolved timely
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- CPA or CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) preferred
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of cash management, banking services and treasury workstations
- Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Supervisory experience
