Summary
Are you passionate about leading a team to become a digital service hub for all segments of our business, from SMB through to enterprise? If so, then LivePerson is looking for you! LivePerson is currently seeking a creative and talented inbound marketing / growth hacking expert to join our Marketing team as the Director, Digital Marketing based out of our New York City office. We have the key systems and technology components in place for an amazing digital leader to come in and increase the pace and efficiency at which we build our pipeline -- from demand generation on through usage and retention. You are the conductor orchestrating how our digital team, web site, direct marketing systems, retargeting, and even our products come together to seize our prospects' and customers’ attention and move them to action. You will be a leader in applying our own platform LiveEngage for a great conversion and customer experience. Within a year, we will have a digital marketing operation that is the envy of the B2B software world and digital properties that are viewed as top examples of innovative and effective digital marketing.
Responsibilities
* Create and scale data-driven online acquisition, usage and retention marketing strategies * Develop and initiate user acquisition campaigns, experiment with a wide array of ever-changing online channels and develop methods to understand and improve campaign effectiveness * Partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, creative and other key stakeholders to effectively execute campaigns and analyze their success * Rigorously track cost per acquisition and LTV metrics to evaluate effectiveness of programs * Continuously identify, evaluate and test new acquisition channels, strategies and tactics * Create the acquisition marketing roadmap to guide continuous expansion of the company's acquisition efforts globally across North America, EMEA and APAC * Evaluate and expand the company's online advertising strategies to include site and search retargeting, behavioral targeting, sophisticated social marketing, affiliate marketing, display advertising, real-time bidding and beyond * Rapidly develop and launch qualitative and quantitative A/B and multivariate tests * Work across the organization to incorporate brand considerations, product and engineering constraints and company priorities into a strategic roadmap * Provide the executive team with updates on performance of online programs * Build and manage an acquisition, usage and retention marketing team
Ideal Candidate
* 8-10 years of direct experience in acquisition marketing * Experience hiring, managing and developing high-performance teams * Excellent quantitative and analytical skills * Expertise using highly sophisticated online marketing techniques and a wide variety of marketing channels at a B2B SaaS or top-performing consumer Internet company desired * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Exceptional project-management skills and attention to detail * In-depth understanding of A/B and multivariate design and analysis of experiments * Driven and experienced marketing leader with ability to expand and inspire teams * Intellectual curiosity about user behavior, flows and channels * Strong passion for testing, data and metrics and belief in discovering insights in data * Desire to become established as a company and industry thought leader
